Posts are scheduled to begin on November 15, 2009. There will be one post per day every other day, 50 posts total. Each post will be a work of fiction under 100 words.
Absolutely*Kate, thanks for commenting and following!
The naming is a variation on an older collection of short works of mine called Sashimi. Most of these works were 750 words in length, an intentional limit. For me, Thinly Sliced Raw Fish works for fictions under 100 words—small slices that hopefully are pleasing to the palate.
There are some occasional sea creatures popping up. A leviathan pops up early, later there’s aquarium fish, and sea bass and sea urchin are on the menu at what might be a familiar setting.

What's the first story behind the naming of this hosting place to post your stories, Christian?
Will be checking in on salmon enchanted evenings to see how well your words perch ... just for the halibut.
